Introduction: Purpose and Meaning

Greetings, fellow readers.

My identity is not relevant at the current moment. All you have to know is that I'm a rather boring or dull young man (or teenager, or whatever) who tends to overthink and overanalyze simple things. This will be my first serious blogging attempt and I hope I can entertain you one way or another. This blog was created to hone my English writing skills and fluency. The blog also serves as a thought catalogue or data bank of some sort. Moreover, the blog serves as a reminder of an "ideal-me" in bad conditions. Last but not least, this blog is here to expand the readers perspective on things. A little more about me that my dearest readers' should know is that, I'm "that" guy; the guy who see things differently and less appriciated in society. So, the blog will mostly be about my views on certain topics in the reality.

Thoughts and posts within this blog will talk about a wide variety of interesting topics and subjects found in everyday. However, instead of giving up a full, detailed, and comprehensive essay, I will instead post piecemeal but detailed thoughts on those certain topics. I will try my best to write and update at least once a week. Moreover, I expect my readers to be keen and able to think critically, not all my words are right and consistent. There might be a chance that one of my writings will contradict with my other writings or the previous statements in the text itself. Please do comment if there's any objections or questions, I am open for critics or suggestions and ready to answer or advice.

Based on my need for a place to write on and pour my thoughts and for the "brainy" nature of the blog (as stated above), I decided to call this blog "Contemplatio et Sententia" which is Latin for "Contemplations and Thoughts". The reason I chose this title is because latin is the official academic language (well, actually it's more because Latin sounds a lot more badass, cool, and classier than English; makes you feel like an assassin like Ezio) and that the words somehow represent the seriousness in intellectual pursuits.

However, this blog will not solely serve as a serious and academical blog. I might post some none-intellectual fun stuffs quite a lot too. After all, I'm still human too.
